FDA Has Not Approved the Use of HCG Hormone as Weight Loss Supplement

HCG diet has been an extremely popular choice in the US for a solution to obesity and overweight. This diet protocol employs a prescribed amount of HCG products to help a very low calorie intake diet.  However, like other weight loss plan this popular hormonal diet also entails some possible risks or dangers. What are the potential HCG diet dangers?

The first potential risk associated to the use of HCG drops diet is that this method helps reduce pounds of weight very impressively. Dieters report one to three pounds of weight reduced per day. During this weight loss program, you should not perform strenuous exercises since they will lead you to extreme hunger and fatigue. The use of HCG drops as a diet supplement has not been approved by FDA. Fortunately, there are no negative feedbacks about overdose cases so far.

When it comes to safety consideration, no parties have ever conducted long term or appropriate research on this HCG diet. Exposed to a very restricted amount of calories, some people have concerns about the deficiency of essential nutrients and energy for allowing the body to work properly. Some doctors suggest their HCG dieters to shift into 800 calories intake daily. It is advisable to keep visiting doctors during the diet session to minimize any HCG diet dangers.
