Children may suffer insomnia for two main reasons
- Bad sleeping habits. 70% of babies begin to sleep more than 4 hours straight after the third month of life and 83% sleep 8 hours a turn 5 or 6 months. - Alterations of routine infant or psychological reasons caused by moving house, birth of a sibling, a trip, or, very active baby, any new situation like learning to walk, crawl, etc, will cause excitement and not get sleep. Babies are sensitive and perceptive and lack of sleep is the first sign that something different is happening.
