Natural Remedies Treatment for Insomnia

natural treatment of insomniaPassion Flower. This herb acts in the same way as valerian. Drink a passion flower tea every night before bedtime.

Lettuce. Boil the trunk of a lettuce plant in a small saucepan for 3 minutes. Serve in a cup and sip.

Orange and lemon. Boil some water with some pieces of orange peel or lemon. Pour into a cup and drink. It is a very good relaxing.

Sandalwood oil. In this case it is not for eating but to inhale. Put a bit of sandalwood oil in a pan or suitable container with hot water. Then, position yourself a towel around your head and inhale the steam for about 5 minutes.

You can also use a mixture of herbs. Here are two recipes.

Natural remedy for insomnia:

1 tablespoon hops
2 tablespoons lemon balm
2 tablespoons passion
1 tablespoon lime
1 tablespoon catnip herb

Mix all the herbs and place in airtight container.
Every night, place a spoonful of the mixture of herbs in a cup of hot water, let stand about 15 minutes. Strain and consume.

Natural remedy for insomnia 2:

1 tablespoon hops
1 tablespoon valerian
2 tablespoons manzanilla
2 tablespoons mint

Mix herbs and place in a jar with an airtight lid. Every night, place a spoonful of the mixture of herbs in a cup of hot water. Let stand about 15 minutes, drain and eat.

Note. If you want to sweeten the tea, not with sugar, make better use of a sweetener.
