The treatment options of insomnia

Insomnia treatment should begin by finding and treating the underlying condition. In the early stages of treatment, sleeping pills or other drugs may be prescribed.

Noninvasive treatments are usually tried first ruled out completely different problems. Sleeping pills are sometimes kept as a last resort.

Not every addictive drug. Psychological dependence is a common problem. Long-term uses of drugs cause negative side effects. Drugs may be less effective if used too long. Drug could stop working if used every single night.

Teaching insomnia good sleep hygiene is the most effective treatment. Good sleep hygiene involves creating an environment which produces a powerful sound sleep without medication.
